Whatcha' Doin?

Here's what our day has looked like so far today:

9:05am- The big boys and I woke up. We camped out on the couch bed last night

9:10am- I got dressed to my shoes and went to my chair to read my Bible and drink my Hazelnut cream.

10:00am- The boys are saying something about being hungry. Alright, Alright.

10:03am- Put Chocolate Chip Waffles in the oven. Yum. I've forgotten how good Chocolate Chip Waffles for breakfast really are.

10:07am- I go back to my chair, John 11 is really good today. Does Jesus really love us all this much or just Mary, Martha & Lazarus? :)

10:30am- The baby finally wakes up. Good, he's alive, I was starting to get nervous.

10:40am- Play peek-a-boo- with the baby in his crib because this is his new favorite game. He acts like he doesn't want to get out of bed. Then when he does get out he wants his blanket. Pillow. Other blanket. Cup.

10:40 1/2am Feel a tinge of guilt for letting him go to bed with a cup of milk. Are his teeth really going to turn black and be buck?

10:41am- Diaper change and happy dance because he didn't pee through. This means I don't have to wash his bedding again.

10:42am- Talk with my oldest son about the value of being honest in everything.

TIME WARP-Not sure what went on here

12:15pm- Time to make lunch. Hmmm. Scrambled eggs with cheese in tortillas sounds like a quick winner to me.

12:30pm- Get the kids dressed for the day.

12:38pm- Diaper Change #2 for the day

12:39pm- Brush teeth, comb hair.

12:41pm- Quick email check and blog post before school time.

What have you been up to today?

You're so funny! I was supposed to use today to study for a test I need to take but I made the mistake of coming home to do that. Uh...laundry. Pick up house. Work from home. Blog. Book hasn't opened...oh, it's already time to pick J up from school? No way!

I just had to laugh as I read your day. My goal is to totally be done with school before you start. :) We've already eaten breakfast and 2 snacks before you wake up. Isn't it funny how differently our families work!

I love that in the midst of the "mundane" you have a moment for a significant life lesson.
(Not that your day is mundane ... this time of life is so precious)
