Bra Shopping

You know it's bad when you are heading to the mall and on your way out the door your husband hands you cash and says Do Not Come Home Without 2 New Bras. That bad huh?

Ooooohhh Yeah. I'll confess. It has been nearly 2 years since I went bra shopping. What? I've been cooking and changing diapers and blogging. There is nothing in me that looks forward to bra shopping. I will say this though, this week I discovered Age Defying Lift is on the rise (no pun intended) in the bra industry.

I was in Dillard's once and needed measuring so in a low tone voice I asked the lady at the cash register if someone could measure me. She whipped out from behind that counter with lightening speed. "OH SURE HON-AY, LIFE YA ARMS UP." Um. Uh-hum. Shouldn't this be happening in a dressing room with blindfolds on? That's the kind of stuff that happens to ol' Bugs though. And then there was the grand announcement of my size to the entire world. OK, it's really just that lady who drug her poor husband along for the ride. What's wrong with him anyway, doesn't he know there is a bench at the food court?

Well, mission accomplished. You will be pleased to know there is a new lift and separate line in the budget for new purchases every 6 months. It's amazing how things have been looking up since my shopping trip.

Yes and those pretty necklaces aren't all that now hang properly....

Yeah I just LOVE when I'm toting around my Mohmar the Tentmaker sized underwear and these dweebs are there hanging onto their honeys.

WOMEN - can't you leave that poor fella alone long enough to buy your drawers in private???

And the men ALWAYS look - don't they? jeepers wally.
Give it a REST!

Anyway Honey I'm SO happy for you. Life is good again :)

Love,
Y'Mama

This is hilarious! And I'm glad I'm not the only one bothered by men in the lingerie section!

Girl, girl girl! I H-A-T-E to shop for bras (next to bathing suits and jeans). I also hate how darn expensive those puppies are. But the girls aren't what they used to be, so I'm all about some age defying (read: gravity defying).
