Hi

Hi, It's Bugs & Sunshine. Can you hear me? Testing 1...2...3...Do you read me? Will this Power Blog be shut down? I sure hope not-Are my 3 faithful readers still out there?

Our Modem bit the dust. My man was out of town. He tried to talk me through installing the new one. It had nothing to do with color or fabric so it seemed as if he was speaking to me in Russian.

Here is a pic of one day when my sister fixed my hair. She's good.

You can imagine my delight when I realized it was Eat More Chicken Day at Chick a few weeks back. You better believe we whipped out some costumes and went to have dinner that Friday night.

We are in transition at our house. We've had a lot of travel, interrupted schedules, single parenting due to us traveling separately for our jobs this summer. Our house is chaotic right now to say the least. We are drinking a lot of coffee and trying to get back on track one day at a time. Now we are gearing up to start homeschooling on the 16th.

I almost bought a denim jumper on clearance at TJ Maxx for $10 because I knew you'd be proud but just couldn't bring myself to spend $10 on a joke. Instead I went to Starbucks and got a breakfast sandwich and a mocha. That was the right thing to do wasn't it?

So here' my question today. Juniors section.

Are we too old?

I'll never forget when I got stuck in an outfit in the Limited Dressing room in my mid-twenties. Haven't stepped foot in the store since.

Can we still shop in juniors (assuming we won't get stuck in the wrong size and have to be rescued from the fitting room).

They have some cute stuff right now but I don't want to look like one of those middle aged men driving around in a bright red sports car so that when people see me in a ruffly cute outfit they go, "Uh-Huh, that poor bus drivin' soccer mom, she's goin' thru the mid-life crisis, Bless Her Pea Pickin' Heart."

Yep, I'm still out here. :) Hope you keep blogging!

We did the Chick-fil-A thing too, but for a late lunch. There weren't very many other people there dressed like cows. We'll have to try dinner next time.

I gave up shopping in the juniors section years ago; the stuff just didn't fit right. It's made for skinny toothpick figures with no boobs or butt. The one exception was when I was first pregnant with Anna... all the new "babydoll" style tops made great early maternity tops. :) They look like maternity clothes anyway.

I wanted you to know I tried the curly girl thing again this summer. I was hoping to make it all summer but I just made it until Aug. 1 and then I couldn't stand it anymore. Straightener, good to see you again.

I'm a faithful reader too. :) Your picture is beautiful! BTW, I think I have that same top.

I shop in whatever section has clothes that appeal to me. If the worst I'm accused of is trying to look younger, I'll survive!!!

Good luck with homeschooling again. Glad I can semi keep up with you and your family through your blog. You always make me smile.

Welcome back, blogista. I just love your new hairdo. Saw that cute sister of yours today in Targe' and love her blonde do! She was rockin' some mighty cute red jewels. Excited about her new adventure.
So, here is my take on junior stuff. Alot of the things out are topper vests...and I think those are very versatile, no matter what the age. I say if it fits, it doesn't matter what section it comes from. Just don't buy the satin capris with zippers in places that shouldn't be cause I would have to be your friend and tell you like it is. Just saying.

Have a fun party tonight! :)

I've missed you! (Not that I've been blogging much myself)

Girl. Your hair is FAB!
As for the juniors, you could totally pull it off because you are a fashionista. It makes me nervous, though.

Good to have you back! I have missed reading your blog, and I do love your new, shorter hairdo. Keep up the fun stuff.

I will still occasionally shop in juniors, though since I have to buy a bigger size, it is better for my ego to stay in the women's section. :) Occasionally, I will find a shirt or something, but those are often too short...I ain't about to show off my baby stretch marks.

I really like Kohl's women's section because they've become pretty classy with some of their lines--Vera Wang and Daisy Fuentes, etc.

But now that I'm pregs, I am just thinking about "will this be long enough to cover my belly? and how much longer can I squeeze into my fat pants before I have to strictly wear maternity pants?" I bought a Bella band...so that helps. :) I wonder if it's a fashion faux pax to wear a bella band after you have the babies??? hahahahaha

I've missed your posts! I know you don't even really know me, but I read your bog ALL the time. You rock!

I stay away from the jr's section. I figured out in college that the misses section fit me better and I've never looked back. Now I have the same thoughts that you do wondering if it would make me look like I was trying to look 16 again. But hey...if you got it, flaunt it!

Yah!!! You're back! Me too... juniors all the way. Especially if the women's section is looking especially grandmaish at the time ;)

Yay Juniors section. I love it. But I'm with Becke - don't get too funky lest you end up on Maury Povich under the headline "My Mom Dresses Like a Tramp!"

Just sayin'...
