ZZZzzzzzzz.....

How could I forget my boy's name? Crow? Cook? Tomato? Tuhmato? At 4 am this morning I thought, hmmm, did I call my boyfriend, uh-hmmm, I mean the newest American Idol by the wrong name on my blog? I think it is the lack of sleep.

LD was up many times last night. Every 1 and a half to 3 hours. Nice. I wasn't naive enough to think we had turned a corner the night before with the 5 hour stretch. My main excitement was that lots of people I know have good sleepers, we never have, and it was fun even if for only a night to experience what that might be like. Even when I am up a lot with LD it is not that bad. I get excited to see his sweet little face.

My biggest goal during these sleepy days is to keep patient with SP and Moose during the day. I messed up 2 days ago and yelled at them which I absolutely hate to do. With a passion I hate it. I made their two little beds and felt so good to have accomplished something. After LD ate, I went to the back of the house and the comforter and sheets were on the floor and I was mift. Yes. Mift.

Looking back it is a little bit funny. I made them sit on the floor and told them no talking while I remade their beds. Then I had them each get 2 books and sit quietly on their beds to read for 10 minutes. During quiet time/book time I went into the living room to read my Bible and get my heart right again. Psalm 31. It was a good one too.

Talked about my times being in God's hands. How God has set my feet in spacious places. That God has goodness stored up for those who fear him. That if we hope in the Lord we can be strong and take heart. God shows wonderful love to us.

Patience with the boys is the thing I'm praying the most for now, also. The last two days we've started the day with a little "here's what I expect today" it's worked really well.
I'd be very thankful for a 5 hour stretch, even if it's just one:). Piper is waking up every 3 hours usually, sometimes 2.5 hours but she usually goes back to sleep. What is killing me is the boys getting up between 6:45-7:00.... arggghhhhh!

Patience is something I'm working on also and my son is 15! So glad you posted this morning, I was thinking who's David Crow! Anyway, I have ALL the songs (studio versions, really good) downloaded, so just tell who you'd like to hear and I'll make you a few cd's. I'm addicted to David A, but Jason also rocks on these studio versions. I think he will go far. After reading your blog, I realized I missed Candace's shower and am really upset with myself today. Too disorganized, but I do have my favorite earings on! Get some sleep tonight!

So far Andrew is the only one who has gotten sick but I've felt queezy all day. Andrew feels better now and hasn't thrown up since after lunch... however poor kiddo has spent a while in the bathroom:(

I didn't get to see you at church to tell you bye, but I am leaving tomorrow (Monday) for camp.

I expect to be invited to your house on my week off in July (or I may just have to invite myself!)... I am sure that Jack will have grown so much!
