Not sure what to title this one...

Shane was super sick last night and all day today. His high fever may have just broken. We thought the stomach bug had left us, but OH NO! I don't remember seeing Shane so sick :(.

I had 3 bathed babies, 5 outfits laid out for church this am (yes I lay Shane's clothes out sometimes!), breakfast planned, the whole nine yards. We were ready to go to church today, but that plan got put on the back burner. Instead...

Shane spent the day sleeping and around another kind of throne. I spent the day in my night gown with my hair in a big crazy pony tail right on top of my head, with an extra barette to deal with the bangs. Lovely. My sweet mom called and went to Wal-Mart for us. I technically can't drive yet, and I couldn't leave Shane home so sick with the kids, but we needed a few things. A few as in a lot of things.

The bathrooms are cleaned, everything has been Lysoled-again-, the house has been aired out, toothbrushes sterilized, and LOTS of prayer to the good Lord that Luke does not come down with this and that I don't get it again (Shane had a horrible round of it), and that LD stays healthy.

So, what is good about having the stomach bug and a less than 2 week old baby? Uh. Not much except for the fact that one of my biggest fears has been conquered right out of the gate and I now know we can live through the dreaded bug when it strikes. Not sure if I should thank God for helping me face my fears head on, or just keep laughing and eating Oreos.

For those of you reading this, Anna and I have a policy around this house...You throw up...you clean all the bathrooms, wash all the bedding with hot water & Lysol everything.

I am exhausted...

but maybeb a bit better

You aired out the house? You mean that bug is now loose in Conway? Are you crazy?? Have you never seen the movie Outbreak? You should be in quarantine.

Sorry y'all missed the baby dedication.

I'm so sorry! But I understand how you feel. Our plans for Mother's Day got nixed too. I have strep throat, and Tristan has pink eye. But God has allowed me to keep my sense of humor. Sounds like you have too. With God & a good sense of humor, you can make it through anything!

Well now you've done it.

Apparently it takes 4 days for a bug to get from your open windows to our house. It hit David pretty hard yesterday.
